Details:

The sax is currently only semi-playable. Up for sale is gorgeous vintage 1914 C.g. As such, the pads will need to be properly leveled, and faulty springs reworked or replaced. Absolutely beautiful.

Patent #1119954, serial # 131941 l. There was one rod, however, that I could not unscrew. It was ted to my brother by a close friend. Perhaps an enthusiast or a collector might appreciate it more.

There are a few minor dents on it pictured and some parts where the silver plating is worn off. I've developed a passion for restoring instruments primarily drums, which is my main instrument and so brother, who guitarist, gave it to me. It was stuck and I didn't want to risk damaging the groove, so left it in place. Conn c-melody saxophone.

It comes with two mouth pieces and a pack of tenor reeds. Did I mention am not a sax player. I describe it as such because there are several air leaks and a few weak or non-functioning springs. I replaced all the pads except for one associated with part could not unscrew as well springs.

As I am not a sax player nor horn repair person, would defer this to someone more knowledgeable and experienced. The sax comes in a generic tenor hard shell case. This was the first and only saxophone i've ever worked on with my limited knowledge of instrument, I able to go so far in restoring it. Still a really nice-looking horn!, this sax has been in my family for about forty years now.

This sax is silver-plated with a lacquered brass inner bell in pristine condition. I first took the instrument completely apart, then cleaned all parts individually with silver cream. That is really all I can think of saying about the sax at this point.
